Why work with me?

 I’ve always been passionate about training, developing and unlocking potential in the teams and individuals I worked with. But with little formal training I felt as though I was only ever scratching the surface of what was possible. It both frustrated me, and made me curious to learn more.

That's why becoming a certified coach made perfect sense for me when I retired from full time work at the end of 2021.

It allowed me to grow my skills and capabilities, further develop my self awareness, and continue doing what I loved; helping the next generation of leaders find the success, balance and  fulfilment they deserve.

Coaching can be transformational.

At its core, it’s about change and it’s about the future. Your future. 

I partner with you to fully understand the current reality of your situation, identify the change(s) you want to make, and help close the gap from where you are now, to where you want to be.

Whilst I put my years of experience in Media, Tech and Advertising to good use in my coaching, I’m not here to offer you my advice. 

My role is to listen, ask questions , challenge constructively, and create a space in which to safely explore your thinking. You are the expert in your life, leadership and work and therefore my role is to help you connect the dots, see choices, plan steps, take action, create the change you want, and see it through.

Are you a successful LGBTQ+ leader seeking professional development? As an LGBTQ+ coach I understand the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ professionals seeking to develop their careers - I've been in your shoes and experienced both success and setbacks. And whilst there has been significant progress for LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace, there can still be an emotional cost to pursuing success in a traditionally straight-focused environment. As a coach and sounding board I can support you and your goals, as well as any unique needs or workplace challenges, with lived experience and empathy.

My approach.

All coaching sessions are bespoke and tailored to you. I work from a toolbox of coaching models and techniques rooted in behavioural and cognitive behavioural models, supported by self-reflection and a solution-focused approach that helps you develop your self-awareness, take responsibility for your own performance and flourish within your organisational context.  I have an accredited Certificate in Coaching from the Coach House, and I’m a member of the Association of Coaching.

In addition, I’m a Fellow of the Royal Society for arts manufactures and commerce, volunteer peer mentor for the Metro Charity which offers health, community and youth services across London and the South East, and a Positive Voices speaker for the Terrence Higgins Trust who “strive for a future where there are no new cases of HIV, where people living with HIV get the support they need and there is good sexual health for all.”
